Engine & Gearbox Rebuilds

We rebuild all engine and gearboxes, including overdrive units. Engines are always rebuilt to unleaded specification whenever possible, to be fully compatible with modern petrol.

We can tune engines to Fast Road, Stage 2, etc. if desired. Older engines have white metalled main and big end bearings, side valves, 'wet' liners, etc., all of which we can restore. Sometimes hidden improvements can be made also; a popular one is to replace the original 'rope' crankshaft oil seals with modern 'super seals' to cure a main source of potential oil leakage.
